Ruth Ann Rigby was born and raised in Jackson, MS, graduated from the Education Center. After graduating from HS, she went on to pursue a degree in Education from Belhaven, Holmes Community College and William Carey. She worked in the field of sales management and marketing for many years before returning to school to become an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. She has worked in the field of addiction and Behavioral Health for over 20 years. She has worked for St. Dominic Behavioral Health, Pine Grove Behavioral Health and currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Capstone Treatment Center in Searcy, AR.
Ruth Ann is highly esteemed among all that know her for her tireless energy and passion to serve any family or person in need that crosses her path. Her willingness and dedication to professionalism, collaboration and mentorship is unmatched.
Rigby is very active in her community and has held many positions on area boards. She was recently honored by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency in November of 2016 with their Bronze Award. She served on their board for over 20 years and held every office including President of the Board of Directors. Ruth Ann Also serves on a Task Force for Law Enforcement & First Responders and assist them and their families in time of need. She serves The Advisory Board for the Center for Hope and Healing at Broadmoor Baptist church.
Ruth Ann is married to Lt. Colonel Joseph Rigby (RET), they reside in Jackson, MS and are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison. They have 3 Cocker Spaniels, Graciee, Darbee and Cailee.
